Throughout my free time and academic discipline at Utica University, I have worked on many different projects. Posted below are some examples of my technical work.
[Abstract] There are resources all over the internet on how to set up a fresh Linux installation. This document is a collection of those adjustments to aid the average users with adjustments tailored to elevating the security baseline of a system. This document mostly consists of bullet points steps that aid in this endeavor. This document does not delve too deep in to why certain settings are recommended. Due to this straight forward approach, this document is best understood by users who are mildly tech savvy. In conclusion, Fedora is packed to the brim with settings for you to explore and tweak to your liking. This document explores the various avenues to take from a security conscious point of view.
Studying for the CompTIA Security+ exam was no easy task. Before I got my certification, I endured multiple hour-long study sessions every week for about a year. While preparing for this exam the use of a textbook was fine, but I wanted to improve my understanding on specific topics. My goal with these study guides was to write about topics that I wasn't too familiar with. My hope is for this to be useful for someone that has the same goals as I did. This information is not nearly sufficient enough for preparation of the exam, but is great for reviewing what you may or may not know.
I like to draw a wide range of things using my iPad + Apple Pencil. Here are some IT related posters that I had created. I like to create Info-loaded posters as another way to remember and embrace aspects of IT and Cybersecurity. I casually add to this collection over time.
The design of my command prompt poster is heavily influenced by Julia Evan's "every Linux networking tool I know" which you can find here. (its also a lot nicer than mine)
